Museum Planning LLC developed master planning and a feasibility study for the Discovery Science Center in Orange County, California — a major regional science center serving hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. The work established the foundation for a significant expansion and redevelopment of the institution.
The feasibility study assessed the institution's capacity for growth — evaluating attendance projections, financial sustainability, community need, and the competitive landscape for informal science learning in the region.
The master plan established a building program, visitor experience framework, and capital campaign strategy that would guide the institution's physical and programmatic development over the following decade.
